Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth (BID-Plymouth) Has Been Providing Quality Care Since the Hospital Opened in 1903. What began as Jordan Hospital, a small, local hospital founded by Eben Jordan of the Jordan Marsh Company, has now grown into a regional provider of nationally-recognized care for residents throughout the South Shore and Cape Cod. In 2014, BID-Plymouth joined Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School teaching affiliate, and is now part of the largest healthcare system south of Boston. Along with Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton and Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare, they serve more than 500,000 patients at two hospitals and more than 20 outpatient locations from Milton to Cape Cod. As part of the Beth Israel Deaconess family of hospitals, BID-Plymouth has expanded and added new services based on OUTSTANDING QUALITY, OUTSTANDING CARE NATIONAL RECOGNITION FOR PATIENT SAFETY AND QUALITY B I D - P l y m o u t h continues to receive national recognition from patient safety and advocacy groups for the high-quality of care throughout the hospital.
