Soundcheck Studios had popped up seemingly out of nowhere over the past year, yet it had been in the works for quite some time. The studio is several thousand square feet of warehouse space located in an unassuming Pembroke industrial park. Once inside, the warehouse hosts a large variety of private and shared rehearsal spaces rented either monthly or by the hour. All practice spaces are soundproofed while the hourly spaces come equipped with a full backline of high-end professional equipment. For any working musician, it's the ideal place to show up, turn up and keep up with your practice. No disgruntled neighbors here. While truly a desirable location for musicians, what makes Soundcheck Studios extra special is their 250 capacity performance venue with a full bar, lighting and professional sound. A unique venue indeed, letting the public step foot into the often mysterious world of musicians to see some of the area's finest musical offerings. Soundcheck has been putting on a string of excellent performances since their opening, including shows by The Elovaters, Quadrafunk, SixFoxWhiskey, Uncle Johns Banjo and many more.
