20 Sacred Heart School Kingston has been ranked the #1 Catholic co-educational school in Massachusetts in Niche Schools' 2019 report. Sacred Heart is a private school that welcomes students from all faiths in preschool through grade 12 to a respectful community that is academically challenging and spiritually encouraging. The stunning 125-acre campus serves students from communities across the South Shore and the Cape. Founded in 1947, Sacred Heart is a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Divine Providence. Its students develop critical thinking skills, engage in service to those in need and broaden their awareness of global perspectives. Its passionate faculty includes Sisters of Divine Providence, Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and lay faculty. Focusing on academic, spiritual and social development, the teachers, administrators and staff foster the growth of each student as a complete, human individual. At Sacred Heart School, integral to this growth is the development of a faith community rooted in the Gospel and lived in the mission of the Catholic Church. Students can attend Sacred Heart School Kingston from preschool until high school graduation, which allows them to develop lifelong close relationships with the faculty and their peers. Its Early Education Center teaches preschool through Kindergarten; the Elementary School is comprised of grades 1-6, and its Secondary School is comprised of grades 7-12. In addition to local students, Sacred Heart also welcomes international students from countries including China, South Korea, Italy, Spain and Vietnam who stay with host families in our community. A diverse and challenging curriculum is available to students of all ages. Robotics and engineering begin in Kindergarten: students participate in KIBO, a robot kit specifically designed for children aged 4-7 years old. Their ideas come to life by building their own robots. At the Secondary School, Sacred Heart just added a new, dedicated robotics and engineering room. The strong language program includes Latin, French, and Spanish. In addition to in-school language learning, students have multiple opportunities for international study, travel and mission work. Speech and debate are other areas in which Sacred Heart School excels. Its nationally recognized speech and debate team has won several awards, and its coach, Daniel Sapir, was recently inducted into the Massachusetts Speech & Debate League (MSDL) Hall SACRED HEART SCHOOL KINGSTON: Providing a Top-Tier Catholic Education for Over 70 Years By Erica Ford
