13 The Residence at Penniman Hill, led by Executive Director Jean Norte, offers the highest level of luxury, lifestyle and unprecedented quality of care. The community will be composed of 90 state-of-the-art apartments for Independent, Assisted and Memory Care for seniors. Thanks to its fantastic fundraiser, Casino Night on April 5, The Residence at Penniman Hill in Hingham recently donated over $7,200 to support The Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center in clinical affiliation with South Shore Hospital. South Shore Hospital's parent company, South Shore Health, is a charitable health system that includes primary and specialty care, hospital care, home and community care and preventative and wellness services, as well as cancer care. South Shore Medical Center conducted 260,977 patient visits last year. Annually, the organization manages almost 100,000 Emergency department visits, over 3,000 births and more than 20,000 surgeries. South Shore Health employs almost 7,000 staff members. It is a Level II Trauma Center—one of only two community hospitals with this license in Massachusetts. South Shore Hospital is also the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in a community hospital to care for ill or premature infants. Casino Night was full of fun and flair. Attendees enjoyed fine food and beverages while trying their luck at the roulette table or working on their poker face! Others tried to beat the dealer at blackjack or rolled the dice at the craps table. Roars could be heard throughout the evening when the tables were on a roll. Guests declared, "We must do this again next year!!" as they danced the night away. Senator Patrick O'Connor graciously presented both Kerri Clancy of the Cancer Center and Jenifer Hoffman, Sales and Marketing Director of the Residence at Penniman Hill, with Senatorial Citations in recognition of excellence. Clancy has provided superior care and patient services at the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center in clinical affiliation with South Shore Hospital. Hoffman continuously delivers outstanding advocacy and dedication to seniors and their families. A special "Thank You" to the supporters who helped make this night a success: The Red Lion Inn, Sandy Cove Advisors, North River Home Care, Good Sport, Senior Helpers, Care Tenders, Traditions Home Care, BaneCare, The Pilgrim House in Provincetown and, of course, LCB Senior Living/The Residence at Penniman Hill in Hingham. LCB Senior Living and The Residence at Penniman Hill are committed to a culture of enhanced senior living.
