14 Charlene Flynn is breaking boundaries as the #1, top-selling real estate broker on the South Shore. Her sales in 2019 totaled almost $80 million—far and away the highest in the region. As the owner of TLC Real Estate, Flynn has been redefining integrity, client care and personal attention in brokerage for over 20 years. She started her career as a realtor working with Gail Bell, who became a mentor to Flynn. "Gail exemplified how I wanted to conduct business; her values and her dedication were, and still are, an inspiration to me." In 2000, a client wrote a letter to Flynn about what an excellent experience it was to work with her and how much she had to offer. The letter inspired Flynn to open TLC Real Estate, which is named for the first initials of her three daughters at the time, Taylor, Lindsay and Casey (she now has a fourth daughter, Brooke!), and for the "TLC" that the company shows to all its clients. TLC made its first million dollars just six months after opening and has been thriving ever since.
