TheSouthShoreMagazine.com 9 and entrees create the perfect night out. At its core, the Range is very much a sports bar, evident by the 32 TVs and impressive Jumbotron centrally located in the dining room. "The Range is the perfect place for any experience: corporate networking events, date night, a family meal or connecting with co-workers," says O'Connell. "We have people who spend a half a day here. Without committing to a day on the course, you can hit some balls, eat lunch, watch a game and spend time with your family and friends." The Range's "proper older sister," the Tavern at Weathervane Golf Club, offers the same welcoming vibe. "We want people to feel at home and make full use of the space," says O'Connell. The Tavern's main room features large glass windows overlooking the golf course, a full bar and seating for 80. With multiple event spaces, the clubhouse is perfect for hosting baby showers, birthday parties and corporate events. The patio outside seats 100, and this exquisite veranda is begging for a Kentucky Derby party complete with mint juleps. Over the winter, private, heated dining igloos were placed on the patio so that, despite pandemic restrictions, people could enjoy a night out while looking at the beautiful, snow-covered golf course. Sunday brunch on the patio is a can't-miss, year-round event. Order what you want, from Eggs Benedict to whipped cream covered waffles to day boat cod—and try the spiked iced coffee for a summer treat. "It is classic food with a twist that is not overpriced," says Director of Operations, Nate Carney. "We make sure our food has the value along with the best ingredients, and the same can be said of our cocktails, punches and sangrias. The feedback we get is that the food, service and atmosphere are all unbelievable." With its creative menu, peaceful setting and stylish decor, the Tavern can be mistaken for a private club, but you don't have to be a member to enjoy everything it has to offer. "It's exclusivity for everyone," says O'Connell. "You can also plan your dream wedding or other important celebrations at the Tavern." There is no doubt that the South Shore is ready to celebrate
