Wallpaper Panels- If you think you would love the idea of wallpaper, but are concerned about bold colors or that your taste may change... wallpaper panels may be your solution. In this case, individual panels of wallpaper are taken, custom framed and then displayed as art, making them much less of a commitment. Using panels can help break up bold patterns while still adding much needed interest to plain, modern walls; they are great for homes without many architectural details. At Hingham Furniture & Design, we create these beautiful custom framed wallpaper panels. They can also serve a multitude of other purposes from custom headboards to shelf backing, and they can even be an easy solution when looking to stage a home to sell. When taking a look at framed wallpaper panels, we can see a close correlation between them and the work of world-famous fashion designers who have made outstanding collections based on art movements throughout the years. Collectors of these collections have been preserving their history for years by framing vintage scarves, accessories and more as it's not only wise to maintain the integrity of the pieces, but they then can also serve as wall candy for the Boujee collectors. It was Hieronymus Bosch, a famous 16th century artist's painting of "The Garden Of Earthly Delights" who inspired Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani for his Spring Summer 2017 fashion show during Paris Fashion Week. This then brings us to things such as collections by Dolce & Gabbana, The Baroque Of Peter Paul Rubens, El Greco's Mannerism, Cristobal Balenciaga, Christian Dior, The Designer Of The Dreams, Claude Monet's Impressionist Paintings, Yves Saint Laurent, Mondrian And De Stijl, Elsa Schiaparelli, Salvador Dali, Gianni Versace, Andy Warhol, and the list goes on… The moral of the story is that art comes in so many forms, and the way in which you present it is left to the eye of the beholder. 44 North Street / Hingham | 36 Finnel Drive, Unit 3-5 / Weymouth 781.875.3255 / www.hinghamfurnituredesign.com Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 9am - 5pm 14
