16 When Jeff Cohen started One Stop Painting and Renovating back in 1986, he had only a $100 truck and a few borrowed ladders. In no time, his eagerness to help clients with all their needs led him to pick up a variety of other skill sets. In his power washing, carpentry and painting business, Jeff has built a strong team of professionals who are experienced and extremely knowledgeable. Together, they provide a "one-stop" solution for clients and the community. Jeff's commitment to delivering honest and reliable service is evidenced by his countless return customers and long-term employees. Beyond his satisfaction guarantee, which has inspired decades of repeat business, Jeff extends his warmth and care to the dedicated team who helps make his dream possible. In fact, many of Jeff's original employees are still on staff, leading crews and helping him continue to build and strengthen his business. Together, they take great pride in delivering top-notch results and an experience that reflects the company's core values of honesty, trust and honor. Jeff's main mission is to give back to the community. He hires local employees and supports other local businesses while providing support to families and individuals in need. BEYOND BUSINESS In addition to delivering high quality and friendly service to clients, Jeff is committed to building strong relationships. After many years of fundraising and giving back to critical organizations like The Boys & Girls Club and Special Olympics, Jeff founded the Jeff Cohen Charitable Foundation (JCCF) in 2014 to help support people in need in Plymouth and surrounding South Shore communities. The JCCF provides much-needed financial assistance, volunteer work and scholarship opportunities. Jeff has been formally acknowledged by area leaders for his outstanding work raising both funds and awareness for community programs. With focused events throughout the year, the JCCF supports a variety of causes. This year, Jeff held his 26th annual Halloween benefit featuring a silent auction, costume contest, raffles, music and dancing - a wonderful evening of giving. The Jeff Cohen Charitable Foundation Halloween Benefit has raised over $175,000 over the last decade to help local families suffering from great losses. With the help of donors, sponsors, family, friends and public attendees, this annual bash goes a long way in helping the foundation support our community.
