10 458 Main Street, Norwell www.friendshiphome.net 781.659.8202 The leaders at Friendship Home recognize the need, and from board members to the on-site team, everyone is aligned with new strategic initiatives that focus on program participants while adapting to change and investing in the organization. "Everyone who works here is here for a reason. They love what they do," remarks Mary. "That makes me feel really good and comfortable as a parent." Jack's ability to create an inclusive environment has been tremendous in the success of Friendship Home. His respect for people and commitment to the community make his role difficult to fill. "No one person is ever going to fill Jack's shoes," says Bob, who is ready to take on the role as chairman. "It's our job to carry on and it's going to be a collective group instead of any one individual who will make Friendship Home a continued success and meet our members' needs." "The future is bright," remarks Jack. "We have the culture and wonderful opportunities for growth." The board and the leadership team are excited to work together on this continued growth and success with a plan to be adaptive, evolving to address changing demographics and technology with significant investment in infrastructure and operations. "Our pledge is to help more individuals and families while protecting and preserving what is truly special about Friendship Home, which at its core is friendship and love," Andrea says. Thanks to a community that embraced the idea from the very beginning, Friendship Home plans to open its doors to even more families and participants in the coming years, a mission that would be impossible without everyone who has worked toward this shared purpose from the start. From donations to employer partnerships which help grow the Bridges to Work program, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
