29 When Andrea Noble learned that medical marijuana was coming to Massachusetts, she saw the opportunity to build something special. It was a risk, but she knew she could create a local business that could cater to the specific needs of the area and enrich the community, all while navigating the strict regulations of an emerging industry. In Good Health was one of the first dispensaries in Massachusetts, serving registered medical patients since 2015, and years later adding recreational consumers to their loyal client base. Today, In Good Health produces high quality flower and other marijuana-based products, right here in Massachusetts in their 56,000 square foot Brockton facility. When cannabis first launched in Massachusetts, businesses could only sell what they produced. They were not permitted to source products from other vendors as they are today. Moreover, there was no automation and work was done by hand, from watering plants to packaging products. Back then, the company was made up of just 11 employees including Andrea and her son David. Now, their facility is fully automated, with state-of-the-art equipment that has maximized output quickly expanding the modest facility into the impressive operation it is today, complete with a 30,000 square foot canopy to grow flower and another 27,000 square feet housing a production area, kitchen, offices and retail store. With the addition of recreational sales, In Good Health was uniquely positioned to be one of the state's largest cannabis manufacturers, allowing them to produce more than 85% of the products they sell, as well as distribute to other dispensaries in Massachusetts. The small team of 11 has grown to well over 100 employees companywide. In 2021, In Good Health opened a retail store on Cape Cod, located just over the bridge in Sandwich with convenient access to the highway. Beginning as a medical retail store, the Sandwich location added recreational sales just this May. Open 364 days per year, In Good Health boasts one of the largest menus in the state, with everything from flower and pre-rolls to edibles, topicals and more! Because most products are made in- house, they have the best pricing in the state. "As a manufacturer we are able to pass off our savings to our customer base," explains President and CEO David Noble. "We want everyone to have a chance to shop and buy what they need." With a wide variety of products and price points, there is something for everyone at In Good Health. TheSouthShoreMagazine.com
