The RooBar has certainly made a splash in Plymouth that reaches beyond the local community—and rightfully so. The carefully designed menu, delicious cocktails, extensive wine and beer selection combined with an amazing atmosphere truly make for a wonderful experience whether you are dining out, socializing in the lounge or hosting a function. The RooBar is a family-owned business run by husband and wife team Mike Clinton and Kristin Mackin. They've combined over thirty years experience to breathe new life into a location and restaurant that they fell in love with and have been running the restaurant together since June 2012—and they have been enormously successful. We're versatile and we want our clientele to be pleased every time they come so consistency and ambiance is of the utmost importance." The atmosphere at The RooBar is a perfect marriage of funky and sophisticated, a skillfully achieved balance of comfort and class. Gorgeous glass light fixtures hang from the ceiling in the bar and lounge area where there is live acoustic entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings and the Pizza Bar, which is adjacent to the dining room, is beautifully highlighted by original exposed brick walls. The menu is a perfect balance of modern day twists on traditional entrees made with the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Start off with a cup of the outstanding Clam Chowder; a classic New England favorite, an order of Pesto Arancinis; creamy pesto risotto balls encrusted with panko crumbs, fried golden and served with a roasted red pepper dipping sauce or an appetizer of Tuna Sashimi; sesame encrusted tuna, seared and served rare with wasabi and pickled ginger. Palette-pleasing menu items such as the Beet and Goat Cheese Salad, the Crunchy Eggplant Salad and The Wedge Salad provide great options for a lighter fare. Heartier options such as the Coffee Braised Short Ribs; tender coffee and
