Fire pits are highly popular, extending outdoor socials year round.
Jay gave an example, "Many people use fire pits during Super Bowl.
They go and enjoy a break outside. Some people remotely light the
fire pit during winter as a decorative element. It's nice to see the fire
from the inside."
In 1985, Duxbury Gardeners was one of the first landscaping
companies to offer specialty work done by their own employees.
Jay recalled, "Back then you just did softscape work like plants and
materials, you didn't do stonework or pavers or walkways; masons
did that. Nobody put in irrigation or outdoor lighting because
they didn't exist. You had to call a separate company to put in a
swimming pool. All that has changed."
Duxbury Gardeners is a one-stop resource with a 40-year reputation
for integrity, with 35 landscaping employees covering residential and
commercial clients. A separate Irrigation company, H20 Irrigation,
installs underground sprinkler systems and outdoor lighting.
On-site landscape architects will design and draw up master plans,
which are free to the customer if the work is performed by Duxbury
Gardeners. Otherwise, a client can purchase the specifications and
bid it to outside contractors.
