great tastes ~ Clyde's Deli Clyde's Deli— Star of Excellence 2013 Where you're more than just a number! by Jen Nonenmacher Clyde's Deli in the "North End" of Plymouth has been located at 358 Court Street for over 40 years, bringing quality food and service to Plymouth and the surrounding area. Fourteen years ago husbandand-wife team, Barbara and Paul Picardi, took over ownership of Clyde's and have done a superb job of maintaining the traditional deli and quality the community has come to expect, while adding their own personal touches and updates to the menu, products and services and expanding the catering side of their business. Barbara and Paul have over 30 years of combined experience in the food, restaurant, catering and hospitality business. Paul began his career in the industry at Fenway Park here in Boston, then moved on to manage the concessions, functions and food service at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in New Jersey. It was during this period when Barbara and Paul were married—in Giants Stadium at the Meadowlands! After this, Paul moved on to work for Circle Line Cruises in New York and finally he and Barbara headed back to Massachusetts, where they were born and raised, to settle down in Plymouth. They have 4 children, all grown and all boys and have recently welcomed their first granddaughter, Olivia! The wealth of experience that Paul and Barbara bring to the table can only be matched by their commitment to the community and to offering quality products and services. This is not what you would 96 call a "middleman deli"—Clyde's offers only the best of everything and makes most of their products in-house. From premium Boar's Head deli meats and cheeses to Barbara's homemade lasagna and eggplant parmesan and Paul's meatballs, handmade Italian sausage and the famous linguica rolls, Clyde's promises to deliver you the best quality at unbeatable prices. Forget the deli counter at your local Shaw's or Stop and Shop and take a drive to Clyde's in scenic Plymouth where the quality, service, personal attention and price cannot be beat. And, yes—Clyde's IS less expensive than your average grocery store! Deli salads are made fresh on premise and include macaroni, Greek pasta, tricolor, chicken, tuna, seafood and, of course, the famous potato salad. Clyde's sells over a thousand pounds of their homemade potato salad during the 4th of July and another thousand pounds during the winter holidays! Clyde's offers a full menu of sandwiches, salads, wraps and more as well as carry out and catering services. Stop by Clyde's to pick up one of the homemade lasagna or eggplant parm trays (family size and individual options offered) or a bag of homemade tortellini and Paul's special homemade marinara sauce and dinner is done! Go there for lunch and experience one of the freshest sandwiches or salads available, made just the way you like it. Enjoy toasted, classic signature sandwiches such as the Reuben, Meatball Parmesan or the Toasted Veggie Eggplant, a crispy eggplant cutlet, fresh mozzarella,
