As you are reading this letter Thanksgiving has passed and a rare combination of Hanukah and Thanksgiving took place. All of us at South Shore Magazine hope that you all had the very most enjoyable time with your family and friends. Christmas and the New Year are fast approaching, this can be a very hectic time, but also can be a very enjoyable and reflective time for you and your family. Enjoy the season, the reason, and all of the joy and festivity that comes with it. We have had a very busy year with lots of changes and updates to our look, our website and frequent utilization of Facebook to keep you informed about what is going on here on the South Shore. We also celebrated our 5th year on the air with South Shore Live on 95.9 FM WATD, broadcasting Monday nights from 8-10 pm. Our Holiday Edition is new to our yearly portfolio of magazines, so we decided to have some fun with the layout and design creating a true festive look. We hope that you enjoy this edition! One of the major credit card companies once a year promotes shopping locally, we ask and hope that you do this every day. Local business is what makes the fabric of the community and is what fuels the local economy. Shop and support your locally owned businesses.
