Sales have picked up in the past few months, and any drop in volume isn't because the market is off, but because of a lack of inventory. The bad winter we had didn't help, because many potential sellers are still repairing damage. Hingham, she added, is always going to have buyers, because unlike similar South Shore towns, there are many different options for commuters heading to Boston.
