TheSouthShoreMagazine.com can be extremely aesthetically pleasing, very structurally stable and also comfortable, with natural speech and the elimination of pain. Most dentists have taken little-to-no continuing education on the methods to help this silent and suffering group of people. The majority have spent their entire careers learning how to fix teeth, smile makeovers, place implants, perform root canals, implement fillings, and bleach teeth and so on. Most dentists do not enjoy treating people with no teeth because they do not have the skills to get the results that people truly deserve. Many times, these suffering people are middle-aged and older. They have dentures for reasons that were out of their control. Many of them had parents who truly could not afford proper dentistry and had most teeth removed when they could have been saved. Many dentists just did not care or know how to treat these people. In those times, technology and dental education was not what it is now. Some people were born with "soft" teeth and had bad genetics. Whatever the combination of reasons were that caused these people to find themselves with full dentures, there is hope for them today. I have found many mentors from whom I have learned a lot. Many dentists have committed their entire careers and lives to learning how to help those with dentures. Traveling all over the country to learn many different techniques for properly fitting and creating comfortable dentures has led me to love helping these quietly suffering people. Achieving fabulous results for these people is such a thrill. I am exhilarated by changing these peoples' lives one at a time. I will not argue that dental implants improve how dentures function. Implants help but, many people do not want implants. Whether it is because they cannot afford implants, are not candidates for implants because of bone loss, are too afraid to proceed with implants or just do not want dental implants, they are not the answer for everyone. I have come to love to share the denture techniques that I have learned with dentists from all over the country. The Academy of General Dentistry has asked me again to present my denture seminar on October 2, 2015, to more than 50 attending dentists. I truly believe that dentists want to provide excellent dentures to their patients yet, they just do not know how. All of the dentists from California to New York to Florida who have attended my seminars really want to learn and want to provide excellent dentures. I am certified in both Fountain of Youth Dentures and Geneva 2000 full dentures. Very few dentists receive this training. Helping these patients is often the best part of my days. 29 TheSouthShoreMagazine.com FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT HOW YOU CAN BECOME A PATIENT OF DR.
