28 A life filled with ups and downs comes with being able to truly be a productive member of the community in which they live. Where the individuals we support have an intellectual or developmental disability, this drives us to work tirelessly with them to reach their goals. These goals are taken seriously by all of the more than 700 employees who serve over 1,000 individuals in the South Shore Area. Each and every day, we are working together to make sure that our Residential, Day Habilitation and Employment services are growing to meet the needs of those we support. WE HOPE YOU FIND YOUR HOME A home is a place to feel comfortable and relaxed, while having a safe place where you can be yourself and feel like a part of a family. We are proud that our residential homes provide a variety of personalized support options that help each individual feel like they are part of a family. Each one is designed around the needs and interests of the individuals residing in the program. Every resident has a person-centered plan that is developed around all of his/her needs. This plan is constantly updated and worked on to make sure that everyone gets to truly feel like the house is their home. If you were to take a tour, you would notice that each has one multiple living rooms to accommodate family visits and that the houses are decorated to the liking of the residents. These are just a couple of the things that are built into the home to meet the ever changing needs of the individuals in the house. This growth is simply not achieved without the generous donors who help us with our work. WE HOPE YOU MEET YOUR GOALS Our Day Habilitation programs provide for the intellectually and developmentally (I/DD) disabled in a small, intimate group setting. Each group is tailored to meet the ever changing complex needs of the individuals who attend these programs. Every individual in the program is working on personal goals, as well as working with others throughout their program.
