Happy spring to you all! It seems as though the really warm spring weather is being held back by some cruel soul! Soon enough, you will enjoy warmer temperatures and shed the blankets while you watch your son's or daughter's spring sports games and enjoy more and more outdoor activities. On the subject of warmth, our front cover exudes warmth and comfort, as well as an urge for PIZZA! The South Shore's premiere baking company – Montilio's – has expanded its wood-fired pizza business from inside of their bakery shops to out on the road. This is a rustic and beautiful set up with a wooden antique wagon and a state of the art, copper clad, wood-fired pizza oven. It is perfect for ANY event, whether it be elegant or casual! Read more in this issue's featured article. Do you have a student currently in middle school? Are you and your family exploring alternatives to your home town's high school? The South Shore now has a new choice: CATS Academy/Boston located in Braintree. This international school that is based in England has opportunities for day students and boarding students, and is also seeking families to host international students at their homes. I have personally toured this amazing facility and have met some of the students. It is a wonderful addition to the many choices in our area for high school education. Learn more with their article on pages 16 - 19 of this issue. Two articles in this issue's business section feature a pair of wonderful and productive organizations that I have had the pleasure of working directly with over the last few years. Road to Responsibility (RTR) and Cushing Centers (Cardinal Cushing Centers) are both organizations that serve the special needs community in so many ways. I have a special place in my heart for what these organizations accomplish on a daily basis. Unfortunately, they are under constant financial pressure to provide the many services that encompass their work and missions. Please consider donating time or money to help them continue at their high level of excellence. One of our long time clients, Dr. Christine Hamori, is highlighting services to men. Typically, folks think about the many services offered by Dr. Hamori and her staff to be just for women. NOT SO! Check out their article to learn more. In conclusion, I am always grateful for our readers' interest and feedback on our magazine, both in print and in digital form. Most importantly, I want to thank our clients/advertisers for your continued support. To our readers, PLEASE consider in your purchasing decisions the businesses that are in this issue, past issues and future issues, as they are ALL local businesses and need your support to continue. We have so many choices on how and where to spend our hard-earned dollars these days, but spending your money at locally owned businesses stretches your purchases to every community in our wonderful place that we call home, the South Shore.
