PUBLISHER'S LETTER HAPPY SPRING! Let's hope Mother Nature is keeping track of the calendar and that a warm summer arrives on time! We have a great issue of South Shore Magazine ready for you here in print— or some of you may be reading it digitally. We are currently in year 18 of publication! I would like to thank my family and friends for their support and, most importantly, our clients and readers who continue to support our business. I am honored to have the wonderful organization Road to Responsibility (RTR) on our front cover and as our feature article. RTR is celebrating 30 years as an entity providing many, many services to the special needs community. Currently under the stewardship of Chris White, this organization has grown to new levels and will continue to do so for many years to come. CONGRATULATIONS! We also have two other multi-page articles: First is a piece on BRIO residences at Hingham Shipyard. This is an AW Perry and TLC Companies joint venture and will provide some exquisite luxury living to the bustling Hingham Shipyard. AW Perry and TLC are both locally owned family businesses that continue to see the value of doing business here on the South Shore. Another family business in this issue is Brewster Ambulance. They have a spectacular state-of-the-art communication and education center and headquarters that recently opened in Weymouth. Also, check out what is new with Dr. Hamori and her practice in Duxbury. Dr. Hamori is a long-time South Shore Magazine client who is always on the cutting edge of trend and technologies in the cosmetic surgery and enhancement field. As you have seen in prior issues, I have had the pleasure of being a lead host and producer for South Shore Live Radio at WATD 95.9 FM in Marshfield for the past 9 years. We have an article about WATD, its history, Ed Perry and the Perry family's vision as they celebrate 40 years on the air. Check out the latest news on the local music scene with Jay Psaros in THE BEAT. As we all know, the value of family is extraordinarily important, and to extend that value into business makes it even more important. Three cheers to all of the family businesses in this issue and elsewhere. They are so important in maintaining the unique feel and spirit that we have here on the South Shore. Enjoy this issue and we will see you all again for our Summer issue!
