23 TheSouthShoreMagazine.com Paolucci's drafting talent was evident early. He received an art scholarship which helped him attend Auburn University, one of the top ten architectural schools in the country, and was accepted into the architecture program during his very first year. One of the many reasons why Paolucci is so successful is that he has an appreciation for a wide variety of architectural styles. "Not everyone has the same eye for design, so I enjoy hearing the ideas that my clients bring to the table. I use those ideas to offer multiple design options and help my clients find a style that best suits them. Homes have their own personalities." Paolucci is a LEED for Homes Accredited Professional, a globally- recognized credential that distinguishes those with advanced knowledge in green building. He is passionate about homes that are energy efficient and help the environment: "It's the future of living," he says. For anyone looking to create a sustainable home with healthier indoor air conditions and cost-saving capabilities, Paolucci has the expertise and certifications to make that a reality. Licensed in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, he is also a member of the National Council Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), which creates standards to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public. An NCARB architect must pass stringent exams in order to meet the highest national requirements for architectural licensure. MASS Architect sets itself apart from other New England architectural practices with its design-build team approach to residential construction. "I work with a group of reliable contractors and developers throughout the state," Paolucci says. "My mission is to work with homeowners to build their dream home on time and under budget." Architect Nicholas Paolucci has been working at a drafting table for over a decade and is still doing what he loves. If you're dreaming of a custom home, addition or renovation, he will bring your project to life.
