38 working in tandem, Corrigan dedicates her days to bringing employers and potential hires together. Whether young graduate, mid-career, change of career or end of career, she believes in digging down to find the circumstance behind the veil. Working with municipalities, universities and private companies, Corrigan is entrenched in the human component of business matchmaking. Finding true talents and tapping into the potential of the candidate has proven to be the winning combination for Corrigan and her robustly intuitive team. "The more we know the better we can help both the client and the candidate," she says. Relative to success, Corrigan doesn't shrink from unconventional placements of candidates, believing that stepping outside of one's comfort zone is tantamount to success. The double-sided commitment of selling a person's potential means taking chances, embracing the creative process and knowing your product. Corrigan's recruiters embed themselves in their products (job seekers) and effectively match clients (hiring managers) with individuals who are passionate about their own future. No stranger to the grind, Corrigan doesn't just talk the talk, she walks the walk. Before the internet, cell phones and social media platforms, there were rolodexes, file folders, rotary dials and face- to-face encounters: it was the mid-90s and Lisa Corrigan was beginning her journey to CEO of South Shore Staffing. Taking on an agency with a competitive reputation and existing successful relationships was no guarantee of her own success. Hard work through a global pandemic coupled with an unrelenting drive to help others have enabled her to maintain and sustain South Shore Staffing. She has cultivated the growth of the woman- owned company. Encouraged by her self-made father, Corrigan was raised to reach the ultimate goal of being your own boss while in the service of others. "You live the life you learn." She acknowledges the paths that have been set before her, the alignment of doors opening and the internal courage it takes to walk through those doors. She seeks to ignite the same sense of purpose and drive in all of her clients. "Success is simply failure turned inside out." If it is employment or a new team player you seek, find South Shore Staffing in Canton or online at www. southshorestaffing.com.
