While he may not have had a strong background in marketing, his words continue to ring true hundreds of years later. In order to succeed in any sort of business, the ability to adapt is key. While they have offered Online Banking for quite some time now, one of the newest services, Mobile Banking, enables online clients to access their account information from a mobile device once they have enrolled in Online Banking. Braintree Cooperative Bank has recently completed a new custom app for customers looking to use Mobile Banking. "We may be a smaller bank," says Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Joanne Tully, "but we can keep up with all of the bigger banks in terms of technology. We have seen a tremendous growth rate in customers who are using our Mobile Banking service. Our clients have embraced Online Banking for years, and this is a great addition, especially with the Remote Deposit feature." Mobile Banking offers three ways to access your accounts. You may send a text message using your mobile device; you can use a mobile browser on your mobile device or download the new custom app to your mobile device. You can choose any or all of these options, and Mobile Deposit is available, depending on the capabilities of your mobile device. The exclusive app is available for download at Google Play Store, the Amazon Appstore and the Apple iTunes App Store. "Having already had Mobile Banking, we have recently opened a custom app that is now branded," said Vice President and Chief Information Systems Officer, Lee Page. "The old one was just generic. Before, any bank that used the system had the same generic app. Now, ours has our logo and has been completely customized. The new app is easier to find, as you can search it by name. It's nice to see our brand and logo out on all the app stores! We have also added tablets, which makes Online Banking and Mobile Banking much easier and expands the possibilities." Braintree Cooperative Bank has always had a knowledgeable and friendly staff readily available to help customers with their banking needs. Now, they also have members of an already strong team to assist customers with their Online and Mobile Banking needs.
